Rats, roaches and Rossi. It does have a certain ring to it.

The main interest in the whole story is how Rossi gets past examination by a whole slew of well educated people, many with considerable experience, all of whom should know better. It is also a demonstration of how careless, negligent and incompetent the CEO's and supporting staffs of huge investment funds are when speculating on high tech claims and ventures. Woodford fund: 10+ billion pounds Cherokee: $2.2 billion or more.

As everyone here probably already knows, Cherokee (in part with Woodford money) paid Rossi $10+ million dollars up front for the rights to his "technology" and promised him $89M more on completion of a completely idiotic and specious one year test of a so-called megawatt power plant. As we know, all of the testing was allowed to be done entirely under Rossi's control.

Only after several dismal failures of intermediate tests with equipment made by IH did they consult with Boeing. And that test was also apparently incompetent in that they were uncertain about the fuel composition and did not press Rossi enough to provide his formula or enough supplies to do the test. Rossi, of course, claimed that the Boeing test failed because they did not use the right fuel-- in spite of the fact that he, Rossi, was responsible by contract for telling them how to make the fuel. Hilarious. Unless you are a shareholder in the funds.

Maybe Rick Perry caught up and throws some serious cash in Rossi's general direction. Oops.

Well, it just doesn't seem to sink in that if Rossi had commercialized his shop heater back in, what, 2007, he'd own every condominium in Miami Beach and have cash left over for a nice dinner.

But no, it's always the misunderstood, poor, doctor, promising to give all of his money to children with cancer.

    Or something.

If uou read Jed Rothwell on LENR forum, it's a massive conspiracy by hot fusion proponents and established main line scientists who don't want their profitable boat rocked. Exactly how that all works, I am trying to get him to 'splain.

Seeing how much my colleagues get per month, I would say "profitable" just in the strict sense it is barely a living salary up to until you are 35+.
