    I still remember seeing (not a word of a lie) a large poster that was plain blue down to be bottom quarter, after which there was a horizontal line dividing off the bottom bit which was plain white, and bore the legend "Ski Saskatchewan".

    OK - you have to have been there.

    You mean you haven't got the ANSI codes for special chars memorized by heart?

    Just name a bookmark or folder
    éöäéèÄòóñæ
    or something. Then you can just copypaste from within that string.

    I actually use that idea to type my daughter's name, Zoë. It's the name of the audio icon on my XP desktop.
