    And looks like Andrew.

Being a marsupial it might be useful in my roo-bot army.

I wonder how old those might be. The last ice age was quite recent, but Devon Island is pretty far north and might have stayed ice covered in an interglacial period.
Also - why are they so salty?

I just remembered hearing the sounds of Sputnik, as rebroadcast by the BBC, on the transistor radio perched atop the fridge in the kitchen. It was October 1957 so I was eight.

Monday is the day TESS launches. Fingers crossed.

Finally someone brings common sense to the endless parade of geology robots ostensibly funded to "find life on Mars", which is what we bloody paid for, thank you very much. Not to poke at a load of schist.

This baby has a seriously thrudgy two metre drill. About fucking time. Leave it to Europe to get it right.

Oh, and look NASA, there's this too
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExoMars_(rover)#Pasteur_instrument_suite

You, on the other hand, are equipping your latest, as yet undelivered abortion with canisters for unanalysed soil, for "future analysis".

Let's hope ExoMars deliberately invades a NASA "Protected Zone" to boot.
