    Posted By: maryyugoWith due respect to ClaNZer's skills, when it comes to theory and scientific method, he's about as smart as a wooden duck. And he's very argumentative. I agree that he won't falsify results but I predict he will make a lot of excuses if he can find any remotely possible ones.

    I do not place store in CLaNZeR to say it works, he himself admits his lack of knowledge in physics, but if he cannot get it to work I believe he will say so, might be a long time waiting for his answer though!

    Got to check them boxes on at a time; or count the bricks in the yellow brick road.. Mark each one to follow the path.

    This stuff is just to fun.

    What exactly is the "final result?" A demonstration similar to the "final proof" from Steorn, those scope integrals?

    (I mean, we know it isn't going to be a self-runner already.)

    What I want to know is this: Has anyone, anywhere, tried to measure any other DC brushless motors with comparable inefficiency, using the same techniques Steorn has applied to the pseudOrbo in the final proof video?

    You know, for something that is sooo sensitive and needs soooooo many checkboxes checked off, we sure have seen a lot of different configurations from Steorn that "work"...at least these variants:
    1)the Kinetica all-PM farce; 2) the Orbos with the D-cells which had paired vertical toroids and reed switches and a separate genny section; 3) the half-Orbos in the first few Steorn demos that had single toroids in the horizontal plane and optical commutation with SSR and no genny at all; 4) the "final proof" version that had a single genny coil and no separate generator rotor.

    None of these devices include such rather obvious adjustments such as precise timing and dwell, precise magnet spacing wrt field geometry as opposed to physical geometry, coil-rotor spacing adjustments, and so forth. The only precision adjustment we have seen from Steorn is the magnetic levitation bearing axial preload, and even this precision has been dropped in the distribution kits.

    Does Sean (CLaNZeR i mean) have access to a DSO with trace math capability including integration?

    i think all one needs is a couple of those cheap chinese usb oscilloscope gadgets to capture the traces and then do some post processing math with excel or something
    he can probably affoird that much

    I think a magnadoodle would do the trick. It would show about as much evidence as Sean presented with his fancy equipment.

    I'm not sure you can buy magnadoodles anymore though.

    And don't forget, those were at least 300% OU and you can tweak them to get any amount of OU you want. Straight from the horsesasses' mouth and right on video.

    hey babcat do you think the last orbo demo showed 3 to 1 OU for total energy in and out of the system?

    @Babcat: Any idea what's up with steorn.com?
