Not sure that noise is actually indicative - looks like someone using their phone. It's also the first model they bought, 10 years ago.

I can tell you, at least from the outside, that the current ones certainly aren't louder than diesel.

No, those things were that loud 5 years ago. Haven't seen more modern iterations. And I am far from being against testing those vehicles in the fleets of public transportation, worldwide. But so far BEV and hybris are delivering while fuel cells introduce more porvlems than they solve. In my opinion of course, and it is much more likely that I am wrong.

"A team of researchers from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) has discovered a new method that makes it possible to transform electricity into hydrogen or chemical products solely using microwaves."

Stupid tech writers. Were this true, the researchers would be up for the Nobel prize in physics.

Good grief, if we lumped all of the "revolutionary new energy sources", we be drawing electric arcs off our breakfast Wheaties.

Same as "efficiency improvements in PV cells" lumped together would result in energy production in pitch blackness.

    It is unutterably tiresome

It is supposed to be easy to filter hydrogen from methane so why can't customers who want to just buy hydrogen?
  3.
One cannot filter hydrogen from methane, unless one knows no chemistry.
