Brother, I don't own the river. And what is a river? You cannot step in the same one twice. Besides, I am upstream.

Although I am at the source of the river your standing in, I promise not to piss in it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But You are indeed one with the Source, reason your subconscious inspired you to say that you are upstream.

No, I don't lower myself to the level this communication is now sunken to. And you have no obligation to heed the self humiliating dynamics of the external ego -which is not You- either.
    Good night.

Please, no more Islamist propaganda. Argue your philosophical points I will, but up with that tripe I will not put.

Don Lode, you brought up an issue that is dear to my own heart: the matter of patterns. The river is a pattern; were it not perceived as such it would not be a river, but something else; perhaps your flux of energy. I'd say that even that much is an imposed pattern, and patterns exist because they are perceived, and they are perceived because they matter; that is, they are differences that make a difference, to an organism with values. There are some in the near hereabouts that would argue the primacy of patterns; I on the other hand argue for the importance of perception by an organism with values, and so far the only such beings we have reliably encountered are biological and alive. I do not exclude the eventual possibility of the development of machines that possess values, but I think that is a long way away.

These are deep and technical philosophical issues; the field has its own jargon much as does quantum physics or cosmology, and we are just scratching a surface itch here.

In a dream we can experience a world that is completely real to us. So real that if it is a nightmare we can waken from it screaming and with a body whet from fear sweat. If it is an erotic dream the body can have an orgasm. ("Whet" dream.)

I wanted to share a video about perception, not Muslim propaganda. But I know you know that. Anyway, if in the end of that video the word "God" would have been used it would have been called "Christian propaganda". And whole "religous" wars are being fought because of such simple misunderstandings. As if both parties are not speaking of the same one Source or Cause because of It having different names in different languages.

Some even call It "The Big Bang"... or rather: "The Singularity." : D

In the mean time you are right of course that ultimately it is about the intrinsic "value" these perceptual conglomerations of energy patterns have. And by "value" I mean "moral value". We do have a conscience... and with that we often morally critisize ourselves. So here is the energetic Cause critisizing Itself as we for morally disliking what It seems to be as we. As if we dreamd that we were cockroaches, and felt far from perfectly glad with that appearance and character... which we would, because we are not cockroaches. And I say the same about these human appearances in this collective 3D virtual reality.

Indeed. Especially the hint at the end: that some of those mentioned phenomena might be fantasies, but the main unmentioned one is still the truth -"I Am the Truth"- and that the one who is telling some things that are true as bait to hook us with his lie of denial is the devil... jealous as he is of our true happiness which Identification with Who we are entails, feeling the obligation to deprive us of it.

You could also call it the external self- and others accusing ego... which indeed is but a fantasy. : D

Lod thinks he's the center of the universe but he is as annoying as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
He's spreads altruistic mysticism and then offers a cure for the misery he creates.

Lod reminds me of George in this this exchange from Seinfeld:

GEORGE: That's why I'm different. I can sense the slightest human suffering.

JERRY: Are you sensing anything right now?

Lode needs a big bang. Unfortunately, he's not likely to get a woman interested in providing him with one outside the commercial arena, anyway.

You can get those on your own without a second person present. That's what the internet is for!

ISP also stands for Infinite Supply of Porn.
