    Huh? That's the idea behind this battery; with the added electrode, the current flow can be reversed. The ides is that with a nominally 4V lithium-ion cell, the electrode can be driven such that the battery provides a -2/+2 AC output.

    I don't think it's as great as they say it is. Dielectric losses must be taken into account.
