    There's "deep learning" again. It would be accurate to call it a breakthrough. If you want to understand it, you'll need to watch the Geoffrey Hinton lectures I posted.

    Back in the mid eighties, the architecture and theory was already known. What was not understood was the correct algorithm to use on the architecture. This is what has made the big difference.

    Up to a latency we have this now, for certain values of "infinite". It appears to have made little difference to the tolerance of one religion for another, or to levels of religious bigotry and hatred.
