    Almost missed this one:

    Daimler setting up electric truck manufacturing in Oregon

    Should be able to get a good view of one on I-5 as they head down to Californica.

    When do we get to see the electric bulldozer?
  1.
    It will be nice for heavy machinery to be largely seen but not heard.
  2.
    They'll have to put noisemakers in them. Remember the chase scene from THX1138?

    53 questions that seem to indicate massive fraud;
    https://hindenburgresearch.com/nikola/

    Big headline "Nikola Refutes Allegations". Proceeds to refute nothing and merely says "we will refute these allegations"
    Yup, seems like a massive fraud and they suckered GM for $2Billion.

    https://nikolamotor.com/press_releases/nikola-refutes-allegations-95

    ----------
    PHOENIX, AZ --- September 11, 2020 — Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ: NKLA) issued the following statement in response to claims made about the Company by an activist short-seller:

    “Yesterday, an activist short-seller whose motivation is to manipulate the market and profit from a manufactured decline in our stock price published a so-called “report” replete with misleading information and salacious accusations directed at our founder and executive chairman. To be clear, this was not a research report and it is not accurate. This was a hit job for short sale profit driven by greed.

    We have nothing to hide and we will refute these allegations. They have already taken up more time and attention than they deserve. We have retained leading law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP to evaluate potential legal recourse, including with respect to the activist short seller and any others acting in concert.

    Nikola also intends to bring the actions of the activist short-seller, together with evidence and documentation, to the attention of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

    We respect the rights of investors and the integrity of the market and will be back to you after we have advanced the process with the SEC.

    Most importantly, Nikola remains focused on delivering on the promises we’ve made to our stakeholders.”

    More from Nikola;

    https://nikolamotor.com/press_releases/nikola-sets-the-record-straight-on-false-and-misleading-short-seller-report-96

    Contains much worthless SOON (see FORWARD LOOKING STATEMENTS at end) and little if any actual refutation.

    "These allegations by the short seller are false and misleading, and designed to manipulate the market to profit from a manufactured decline in Nikola’s stock price.", is repeated 11 times. "Short Seller", is repeated 30 times.

    On their truck rolling downhill un-powered in their video;
    --------
    Hindenburg seeks to portray Nikola as misrepresenting the capabilities of the Nikola One prototype in a 2017 video produced by a third party, as “simply filmed rolling down a big hill.”........Nikola described this third-party video on the Company’s social media as “In Motion.” It was never described as “under its own propulsion” or “powertrain driven.”
    --------

    Hmmm. So it WAS “simply filmed rolling down a big hill.”

    And for those not willing to read to the end, it has the obligatory cop-out, ass covering statement;

    ----------

    I just looked into where Tesla is at on their Semi-truck. So far, about the same as Nikola. Some of the claims and specifications are extremely dubious too, just like Nikola.

    At least Nikola Tesla is dead so he does not have to see the BS artists soiling his name(s).
