    According to a news item today, confinement in Spain has saved 40.000 lives so far. There are many ways to start nitpicking those stats, but still, I hope it’s a step forward.

    I hope so too... but isn't that kind of like all the thousands of dollars I've saved by not buying fishing tackle? So far.... and I'm saving another couple hundred dollars today, by not buying a new bait-casting reel!

    The novel coronavirus has claimed the life of a father of six in Texas, according to his family.

    Adolph Mendez, who went by T.J., died on Thursday due to complications related to COVID-19, his family said. The New Braunfels resident was 44, the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung reported.
