    No... I'm Chicken Littleing.

    The sky is falling, and the pieces are contaminated with coronavirus.

    I have no doubt that the old ways (of teaching, babysitting, socialization, entertaining) won't work well in the Post-CV world. That's why we have to evolve new and effective ways.

    There is no Post-CV world. There was the Pre-CV world and now there is the CV world ...

    Will there be an archeological horizon? A stratigraphic layer? Will the silicon-based archaeologists of the 99th billennium even know we were here?

    Trump says to expect 74k death in US by August. Current count is 65k.
    Yesterday there were 3k new deaths.
    Then logics tell me the 74k is not three months away, but three days.

    He's not wrong. If there are 74k in the next three days that'll certainly be before August.

    Perhaps they are looking at the UK's treatment of numbers and they will only start counting people when Mike Pence confirms they have arrived in Heaven. I mean, I've heard they could be, you know, some are saying they might be - things that look like their dead but are, maybe - who knows, zombies. We might have buried them but in a few months time up they come, like a democrat to cheating! Best not count them until they reach the other side.

    USA:

    1,263,092 cases
    74,799 deaths
    CFR = 0.059

    Therefore aw fuck.

    I thought the CFR was supposed to go down as more and more testing happens.

    ETA: Oh, wait, it is the prevalence testing (antibody) that will make the CFR go down, not the incidence testing (viral RNA).
  3.
    Nah. Still fucked.

    That looks dramatic. I would like to see a percapitalized version.
