Neuroscientist Dr. Michele Ross is a former drug researcher for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, turned medical marijuana and psychedelics advocate. Dr. Ross says she sought out non-neurotoxic, nonaddictive DMT to help her heal from trauma. In this clip, Dr. Ross describes her DMT trip in detail. https://youtu.be/yqtvuzcL84M 8 min.

Mike Tyson explains to Dan Le Batard the spiritual awakening he underwent after smoking DMT, a psychedelic drug that occurs naturally in some plants and animals. Tyson also shares how his ego has shaped his life, and he goes in depth about his relationship with Cus D'Amato. https://youtu.be/jYcnaYEzX7Y 5.5 min.

These psychoactive chemicals occur in various plants and animals in the world in addition to fungi.

It would be interesting research to determine how and why these serotonin antagonists evolved in nature.

Wrapped up in some powdered wool- I guess I'm losing touch
Don't tell me this is dying, 'cos I ain't changed that much
The only sound is water drops, I wonder where the hell I am
    Some kind of jam?
Cuckoo Cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?

There's nothing I can recognize; this is nowhere that I've known
With no sign of life at all, I guess that I'm alone
And I feel so secure that I know this can't be real but I feel good
Cuckoo cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?

I wonder if I'm a prisoner locked up in some Brooklyn jail
Or some sort of Jonah shut up inside the whale
No - I'm still Rael and I'm stuck in some kind of cave
    What could've saved me?
Cuckoo cocoon have I come to, too soon for you?

Contrary to what you might have heard, Magic Mushrooms are NOT legal in the Netherlands:

    ARE MAGIC TRUFFLES LEGAL?
In the Netherlands, magic mushrooms have been illegal since 2007. However, the government only outlawed the mature mushroom stage of psychedelic fungi, meaning that truffles containing psilocybin are still legal to buy and consume.

Since then, fresh and dried magic truffles have been sold in head shops across the country. Truffles are especially popular in Amsterdam, and a number of legal psychedelic retreats near the city (including Synthesis) have adopted these truffles as the substance of choice for transformational experiences.

    https://www.synthesisretreat.com/truffles
"Synthesis" is from the article just above this post. Just when you thought you knew all about Fun Guys, something new crops up. WTF are truffles and how are they grown? Research is warranted.

Oregon has Measure 109 on the ballot. My reading of the political tide is that it's not going to pass.

Also the home of the largest living organism on earth:

A good friend just lost a magnificent tree in his back yard to the deadly Honey Mushroom. The best revenge: eat the fruiting bodies.
