    Compared to other solar thermal collectors this thing is a dog. They make no mention of the PV efficiency. There's likely a reason for that. You are generally best off mixing 1/4 area solar thermal flat panel collection with 3/4 area PV collection.

    Depends on there cost, once 5 to 10% used to be the state of the art and cost a bomb.
    Hopefully the efficiency of this will improve a lot for a low price.
