    Sean, Jubilant....

    Those moletrappers predicting my doom
Will be singing a far different tune.
    With euros unceasing,
    I feel like increasing
The distance between 'now' and 'soon.'

Posted By: aber0derThose four are the most active knowledge developers in the knowledge development treehouse. And AFAIK Babs left the KDBKlub about one year ago.
Well they all left the reservation a long time ago.

Wrong joshy. Babcat came back. And the SKDB itself is far from moribund.

Tinky: "left the reservation" doesn't mean what you think it means.

    Steorn junk only.

I'm sure there revolutionary battery-powered heater will be shown to the world shortly, then swiftly hidden away for 'further development' (reinvention), just like everything they've ever produced.

After watching the lead paint dry, the Kult Klubbers peel back sections and enjoy the chips.

I know someone who might still be in the SKDB. He mailed me he was not really interested anymore already quite some time ago, but I suppose he still has access to the innards of that secret circle.

I got in contact him, who told me he did not have the €419, so I gave him the money. (I didn't have much myself, but I just wanted to support him, as it looked promising. Now I wouldn't play the maecenas anymore, but once can't hurt.)

I still have his e-mail address on my old laptop, which I don't use anymore, as it only still works in safe mode, and even then in a very limited way, due to a -again- broken video chipset. But I can mail him with my new laptop of course, using his address.

Anyone any questions to ask him through me?
  1.
Yes.... ask him, please, if he's happy with what he bought with the money you sent him. Did he get value for his (your) Euro? Did Sean comment, once the money was paid?
  2.
The skdb will still be quite active. They've been talking amongst themselves for a very long time but I would guess that this hasn't involved much in the way of communication from steorn. That's their modus operandi. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if they gave their paying members the same treatment - take the money and leave them to it. So that begs the question...would anyone have bothered to renew their membership?

Well.... then at least you get what you pay for, from Steorn.

And it's worth every penny, too.

Makes me want to lie down and yawn

Nobody pays to access the SKDB? But it's been open for well over a year! That explains why my sock-puppet membership requests have gone ignored. I'll not take it so personally now. It's almost as if Steorn are afraid to sell their wares - I can see how it'd overcomplicate matters somewhat.

I really like the summary above. It is the entire history of steorn in two words.

    No beans.
