I haven't seen a witchetty grub for years, but then I don't go digging around tree roots in the bush much anymore. The natives eat them, you know.

Is that the natural-born natives or just the ones claiming to be native on flimsy grounds of mere birth to Australian parents?

It's the natural born ones, the first wave out of Africa-they consider witchetty grubs a delicacy (or used to-I'm sure given a choice between the grubs and filet mignon, they'd likely choose the latter these days).

It certainly would exclude me from being President of the Republic of Canada. Fortunately no such thing exists, nor, I hope, ever will.

So why hasn't a native American been President of the USA?
Do they all forge their birth certificates?

I don't have to blame anybody. I forgot that Henry VII had a touch of the tarbrush.

It's worse than you think. To fit all nine lives into that, kittehs only have 444,000,000 years per life.

There is a chance that M33 will hit the Milky Way first.

I think "SOON" comes before any of it.
  1.
Don't worry .... when galaxies collide .... the wave of supernovae and starburst formation activity with all those new blue giants.... no carbon chains are going to be around long in that kind of heavy radiation environment.

Still.... what a spectacular night sky it would be, all right.

Interesting thought. Can you call it spectacular (or anything else) if in principle you can never see it?
