    I don't think polarisation constitutes a "flavour". It is simply an attribute of a photon. The electron, muon and tau neutrinos are different particles with different masses.

    I would postulate that humans will never see most of the universe.
    It is far too large and our existence timeline far too short.

    I'll never see most of the Earth. But I can see Earth maps of various kinds and levels of detail, some so good that the map is literally better than the territory -- better than actually being there.

    But of course it might be a little harder to prepare a universal black hole map.
