No. When i give money to an education foundation, I do not require *ANYTHING* in exchange. it is a gift. Steorn's investor OTOH did not give a gift to Steorn.

You have to be a thorough utter idiot to think both are identical in nature.

Oh really? How much money is JREF saying they will make for the people who give them their money? What perpetual motion machines are they saying that can will build in order to make this money?

If you think less about what you expect in return, and what you get in return, you begin to see the similarities.

Craig, how many of your free energy investments have paid off? Seems to me that being a 'man on the inside', you could be making a killing in this new, exciting age of energy spitting wonders.

@duracell, I have been suspecting for some time that newseditor has to have some kind of mental problem :
    * he keeps doing his regular round here throwing poo
    * what he writes on his web site sometimes remind me a lot of somebody having forgotten to take their lithium...
    * the kind of comparison as per above certainly shows a certain "remoteness" from reality

That's why I stopped answering to his baiting... I think he has got a problem. A mental one.

How is that Craigy? JREF promotes critical thinking and exposes scammers. Steorn are scammers.

Randi must be down to his last little pair of silk knickers if he's looking for money from memberships.

Randi wants 48 dollars a month - that's 48 dollars more than Steorn ever asked for. At least they didn't sink as low as to ask their forum members for cash. Looks like the JREF is going out of business.

Ping, the accounts if you please!

What makes me laugh is the term "education foundation". The pseudoskeptics and mindless irrationality foundation more like.
