Posted By: TrimNot if the arm was computer controlled.

But as a 3d doodler you could use different 'stencils' in 2d copy those the best you could and then use the doodler to join them up in 3d. Cheat as much as you can.

I need a computer controlled arm to do my freehand 3-D doodles? There's something wrong here.

Well a hand held doodler could be useful for chefs and all sorts of chocolate shapes as well as artists.

But a computer controlled doodler could be like a variable sized spider with different 'inks' coming out of it legs, able to do pipework and electrical cables in buildings and if one was big enough build a house.

    A huge house building spider?

If the spider invites you to dinner, say you have a prior engagement.

3d printing by a photo copier seems wrong somehow.

Maybe I could use this to get an imagine of me to print out a 3d replica, it would surely be a best seller.

An imagine of you might sell better than a real.

Kinect has some competition with the Leap Motion device now, which is more compact than the Kinect.

Cool! I hope it's a different soon than the one to which we are more accustomed.
