    Just tell me when someone prints a nice shiny brass tuba.

    What I've never figured out is while "work hardening" is dealt with in subtractive technology (machining), it's essential for certain desirable properties in many applications. Nobody wants a fully-annealed (French) horn or trumpet, for example.

    How will 3D printing deal with that?

    Any suggestions on the best way to drill small holes (<10 mm) in 3d printed polyamide/nylon?

    I've been using half-round bits and slow speed and feed, but is there something better? Traditional twist drills seem to be prone to gumming up and making a mess of things.
