    The SteornLab service benefits as listed in the brochure:

    -Immediate access to skilled personnel
    -No upfront capital cost
    -Full service “concept-to-production” suite reduces lead time
    -Greatly reduced lead-time (no hiring, no setup)
    -“Eyes wide open” stop development at any stage due to engineering feedback, reducing risk Reduced legal fees on patents
    -Legal service agreements keep projects confidential

    Interesting...

    Whether there is any "product" there is entirely questionable. But what is certain is that none of it is "new".

    The 'product' can't be found there, because the 'there' is the product. Its existence is unquestionable.
    And some aspects of the 'product' are certainly 'new', for example the layout and content of the product's 'SteornLab' section.

    Steorn has obviously been busy scraping the bottom of the coffin, and the muffled sound you're hearing, is their sad attempt to present us with yet another nail. A present, how sweet... and just in time for Christmas too.

    It is an old marketing ploy like when they say "new and improved." What they mean is it is the same old shit except they redesigned the packaging.

    I will now try to reclaim the title of Chief Pedant from E-Man. The renovation of secondary "aspects" of the product, such as the organisation of its catalogue, does not render the "product" itself new. And as to the presence of the product "there", their actions say that they're not following this any better than I am.

    But...as per the video link above and Steorn's product line in general, is there a primary product beyond the 'product'?

    It is a form of graphical language. It can be translated thus;

    You can see that someone with time to spare and their head in the clouds thought of a square, then they phoned some award winning experts who had a meeting to look at the square that was cut out of a piece of paper, then someone in finance had a bright idea about the square but then decided, after graphing it, that it was not commercial, so they stopped the project, but fortunately the day was saved when a meeting of a tall guy and a shorter one (or perhaps the Irish Prime Minister) decided that even better than a square was a new concept, the circle, which they are keeping confidential until they have floated it on the stock market.

    Each time they change their web site the orbo content gets less and less. Guess they have been running it backwards too much.
