Actually, the 'trap has been doing very well for me in the last few months. I still occasionally get the "your credentials cannot be verified" red alert, but it usually disappears with a refresh.

    Shouldvebean 504.

    Reproducible:

    504 Gateway Time-out
The server didn't respond in time.

Consistent and annoying time outs -- what is it about working weekends some companies don't get?

I dunno. I thought I'd engaged a company that didn't give a shit 7 days a week. It's disappointing to find they only deliver the poor service I pay for at weekends.

It is nearly time to weigh anchor and move the forum hosting. Some of the work is already done and I expect to move the database and change the DNS over the next couple of days (ish). You may experience problems during that time; 404 Not Found, database connection errors, moderate tingling in itchy fingers, general anxiety - that sort of thing. Probably the biggest got-cha is DNS propagation sending you to the old host so I've pointed http://www.rhetoric.org.uk/forum at the new server, which may help if you find www.moletrap.co.uk is giving nothing but sad tec facey things and making groaning noises.

As always, if it all does go to hell, https://www.reddit.com/r/moletrap/ is where I will post updates if this place is down.

I’d prefer a forum that has Responsive Web Design so I could use it on my small-screen smartphone. IIRC there’s a forum software upgrade available that will do that.
