    For an outfit that is going to weasel out of doing a demo this year, at least according to some of the leading lights of this forum, Steorn is wasting a lot of time and money pretending that they are going to do it.

    and what is the point unless they plan to go public with something - an announcement? a demo?

    Reminds me of Seinfeld on rental car reservations (and the first demo)...

    They know how to schedule the demo. They know how to promote the demo. They just don't know how to do the demo.

    It's probably a fake, or a hallucination.

    Or a weather balloon.

    In denial about what? If you mean the impending demo...I've no doubt they will do some sort of 'demo' - it just won't be a demo of Overunity. I really hope Steorn have OU , but I am certain given my understanding of the laws of physics...that they do not.

    What's happening now looks exactly like the previous demo. It also started with a video which, even if they don't say it, seemed to be uploaded by steorn.

    "Additionally, a short movie has surfaced last night showing someone who looks like Sean McCarthy (the Steorn chief executive) smoking a cigarette across the Kinetica museum. Sean is wearing a t-shirt that says ‘CEO versus CoE’, where CoE stands for Conservation of Energy - the basic law of physics their device is claimed to break."

    I expect last minute weaseling or something entirely unconvincing.

    @hairykrishna

    I don't think that last minute weaseling has any sense, there are to many easier ways to exit, it would be just to painful for them. More likely something unconvincing or convincing but not something that we think it should be.

    I don't think that it is a projection. It's too dim.

    @hairy

    You appear to suggest that something substantially convincing could be shown (on the Internet).

    I'm not sure that's possible.

    @legendre

    My understanding is that this will be streaming of physical device(s) open to the public access, not a prerecorded video!?
