Posted By: AngusI nominate "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". At least it has an octave jump in it. Your one seems to consist entirely of three adjacent notes.
It's the originality and whackiness of it I like.

I missed that. It sounded much like all the other three-note cacophonies. What was original about it?

    Violin Phase

    That's original!
I haven't listened to it for years. All kinds of fun. Hats off to the kids who learned to play it!

Hooray for Steve and Phil and all the minimalists!

I am astonished to see that Judy Collins is 73 years old and still touring.

That takes me back to a choir teacher who tried to teach us intervals through the first two notes of songs we might already know. At this point I can only remember "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Here Comes the Bride" but I would have to get to a keyboard to know for sure what interval I was supposed to have associated with those.

? Rainbow starts with an octave (famously). Here comes the bride goes tonic, fourth, tonic, fifth, third, fourth (major scale).

Maybe that's why Brother Wayne just wanted me to move my lips, instead of singing.
    In the choir, you understand.
