    Did I get a ribbing over that, I conjectured that the third wheel would be like one from a steamroller, that could be detachable, with a battery inside.

    When your battery was getting low you swapped for a charged wheel at the local garage.

    One of the few times I was a tad wrong.

    It's very clever. If the battery rotates, the motor doesn't have to.
