    Looks like a new player rearing an ugly head... someone wrote elsewhere that it's "based on HHO gas"... whatever that means. Sounds like another scam. The incoherent web site supports that contention, IMHO.

    It's well known that sparks in air produce nitric oxide, a yellowish gas, which on contact with water or water vapour yields nitric acid.

    E-catworld.com features a long list of "LENR companies". What do they all (more than 20, I think) have in common? No products, no credibility, and not a one has ever managed to boil a cup of tea.

    Jed Rothwell entered the Scientific American essay contest with a long piece on cold fusion. Unfortunately, he cites all the Rossi stuff as credible, thus destroying any credibility he might have. I didn't track down his citations to high power and high energy experiments from Toyota, P&F and McKubre but I suspect the papers won't say what Rothwell says they say. I tracked down some before and they never did.

    Mizuno and Yoshida have issued some slides purporting to show solid heat output from Ni-H LENR at around 100 watts for weeks and a COP of 1.9 as presented to the Hagelstein's LENR colloquium held on MIT's grounds recently.

    I browsed it and all I see are some temperature measurements. There is one graph of power. I didn't look past that. I don't see how it was computed, what the assumptions were, what the raw data were, how the experiment was blanked and calibrated... maybe I'm just dense. Well... probably that too.

    One thing that these experiments never seen to report is the amount of nickel hydride generated (an exothermic reation, if I read my texts right).
