They launched in the fog? What was the point of that? This is Texas. Wait four hours and it will be clear and sunny, and everyone would be able to see what goes wrong.
I am surprised the FAA let them launch in the fog. Surely that rocketship is an experimental, VFR-only aircraft, at least until it reaches the Kármán line.
You would think some clever 3d nano-graphene printed engine would be a self consuming solid fuel/oxidiser compound which is gone at exactly the time the payload reaches apogee. Landing? Turnaround? Doh, old school old boy ... soon.
That BE-4 boasts a thrust-to-weight ratio of -80:1 according to the chart. So, if you put it in a rocket headed for luna, you aim it away from the moon?
