Not with my weak eyes, could it vary with the size and speed of the orphan and if anybody noticed until it was pretty close?

Well we have been monitoring planetary occultations of thousands of stars for some time now. We do look for orbital repetitions to confirm them, and they are pretty small and hard to see. But I don't recall any that were both credible and non-repeating. Maybe the statistics and detectability aren't good enough but it would be nice to see that addressed.

    Wot?
Why do we try to improve any measurement? Why do we try to test any speculation?

How refreshing to see an honestly reported negative result. Congratulations to them.
  3.
Yes indeed. A resounding NULL result!

I agree it's cool that they are reporting the null result, but they still don't seem very willing to reconsider their theory. They just seem to be fixated on what's wrong with the experiment. With such a huge deviation between the theory and the experimental result they should be taking a harder look at the theory that they are trying to test.

No. Frank's idea was that gravity was a pushing force caused by what he called different atmospheres.

Davies idea is that every force has equal and opposite reaction force but not instantaneously.
  5.
So where is it stored in the meantime? In the minuscule wibbulations of the distant stars?
