I'd like to see a railgun vs. startram (maglev) comparison

Japan has wind lens turbine design that generates triple the power of regular wind turbines.

    Wind Lens.

I have a wind sculpture in the back garden that has trouble getting enough wind. But a few metres above it there's ample, and so I came up with a very simple idea in the form of a vertical chimney topped by an inverted cone.

There is a NHK world YT video on the wind lens, it seems really weird how polite they are to each other.

Physicists Measure Elusive 'Persistent Current' That Flows Forever.

Reminiscent of Wilcek's time crystal behaviour, which was recently confirmed experimentally. Assumedly there's no intrinsic handedness to this current, and so this suggests a space-efficient and power-efficient way to archive data.

Israeli company Aquarius Engines claims a revolutionary combustion engine with twice the efficiency and only costs $100.

Wow. Wait long enough and it achieves 30 mph on the flat.

I'm guessing it's a piston made out of a big magnet that is driven against a spring and passes through a coil as it goes. You can save a lot of parts if you don't even try to take out the power mechanically.

If that's not it, the idea was mine and I own it.

Floating linear piston engines as "range extenders" have been around for quite some time. I suspect that the Israelis will have a real time with patent lawsuits.

It claims to be 45% efficient, which means up to 55% waste heat that could be used to heat water.

It should be used as a way to turn natural gas into electricity in the home when the solar cells aren't working and any excess hot water could be used to heat the pool or growhouse.

Depends on how noisy it is.

Your car is even less efficient so you should drive it into the kitchen and let it run to charge up the battery.
