Why does Elowan stop before he knocks the lamp over ?

...and he woke up to find all the plants in the house clustered around his bed...

There are 20 amino acids used, so pairwise only 210 combinations. The problem looks a lot more tractable viewed in that way.
  3.
Heck, even I can fold a peptide with only two aminos.

    It is bored already...
Brain the size of a planet....

Seeing as how a TPU3-laden monster at Google took a fortnight of continuous cranking to fold its very first protein, I think towels are the least of its concerns.

You are always in control if you know where your towel is.
  6.
But can it fold a Decoration Crane out of a square sheet of paper?
  7.
I sit on a towel bearing the immortal Towel Text and signed in person by Douglas Adams. And no, you can't have it, because it's mine.

Upon the death of Douglas, Adam's towel suffered and fell into the abyss.

This gentleman looks an awful lot like the automated greeter at Magrathea, don't you think?

Sounds like a great springboard for AI in general. The first step is, I imagine, to do a Singular Value Decomposition (aka Principal Components Analysis aka Oja Decomposition) to figure out the principal axes. A NN can do that. The next step is to do a linear decomposition of novel inputs onto this space and to associate one neuron to each dimension. Bang goes Tishby's assertion that individual neurons don't matter and it's only layers that matter.

This seems like it leads to a very general model for all sorts of (all?) brain activities.

I see watercress growing on a hosepipe.
Still, perhaps the way is indeed clear for an orchid dildo.

Now that's truly profound. Translated into a language where it only requires seventeen syllables it makes a pretty good haiku.
