    Derby is very nice but has a few undesirable spots as does any city. Derwent valley is on one side with delightful villages and huge monstrous multi story brick mills nestling along the river that took away the water that powered them. Keep going and you get to Chatsworth House, where you can buy a haunch of the venison they raise and admire all the tat they nicked off foreigners on their historic travels to pillage and rape rare natives and their lands.
