@elonmusk (two consecutive tweets)Falcon Heavy to launch next month from Apollo 11 pad at the Cape. Will have double thrust of next largest rocket. Guaranteed to be exciting, one way or another.

Payload will be my midnight cherry Tesla Roadster playing Space Oddity. Destination is Mars orbit. Will be in deep space for a billion years or so if it doesn’t blow up on ascent.

I absolutely love this guy's audacity.

Don't be silly. What would they do with roobot harnesses in Mars orbit?

Aha! I've got it! James Cameron was born here and left for the US at age 17. Elon Musk was born in South Africa, (to a Saskatchewanian mother) and arrived here at age 17. It is obviously critical to be Canadian at the age of 17 to be a radical risk-taking genius.

Now where was I at that age...?

Al hasn't complained of cold since he left Hogtown.

I tend not to put much credence in articles that say things like
single-celled organisms merged with bacteria we now know as mitochondria, which have an electrical charge and bring power to the cell
