Can't they just call them dogs? The "K-9" appellation has always struck me as being rather imbecilic. Canine, K-9... it's just silly. Where are all the K-8s and K-7s? Does a K-9 ever get promoted to K-10?

Seems to me as if he's been reported killed at least three times before.

According to several seasoned specialists, ABAB was a low-profile leader and his demise wouldn't matter much. Unlike AQ, Daesh is a cellularly organized.

Note that the photo was taken three hours after the event. So staged.

    Russia's statement:

The Russian defence ministry reacted to the news with scepticism, saying "it had no reliable information on the US operation."

"The Russian Ministry of Defense does not have reliable information on the US servicemen conducting in the Turkish-controlled part of the de-escalation zone of Idlib an operation on yet another 'elimination' of the former IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi," Major-General Igor Konashenkov was quoted by local news agency RIA as saying.

Trump later reported in his conference that the K-9 unit was injured but survived.

The Daily Caller is a right-wing news and opinion website based in Washington, D.C. It was founded by Fox News host Tucker Carlson and political pundit Neil Patel in 2010.

The Daily Caller has published numerous false stories, as well as shared deceptively edited videos and photos. The website publishes articles that dispute the scientific consensus on climate change. The website has published articles by white supremacists, such as Jason Kessler and Peter Brimelow. Scott Greer was The Daily Caller's deputy editor until 2018, when it was revealed that he published articles espousing white nationalist, racist anti-black and antisemitic views under a pseudonym in white supremacist publications.

Based on the boy-calling-wolf lessons I learned as a child, I assume that absolutely none of this has any basis in fact. Whatever may eventually be proven true by other evidence will turn out to be of little importance. Any remainder that actually is important will clearly have been done by somebody else.
