    New video from Quanta Magnetics.

The Blackbox is a better concept than the Ocube. Video shows a new charge status indicator, which the Ocube lacks. The Blackbox can also charge smartphones and tablets, as demonstrated. It has 2 USB outputs instead of one. And it doesn't need any pointless hidden 9V batteries as "reference voltage". And finally, it seems that the inventor has not requested or gotten any investor funds.

I find this more convincing than the Ocube monkey skull. Lots of people will fall for this scam.

Agree. Nice look to it unless you notice the solder joints.

Now that Steorn is broke and (probably) finished, all hopes are on Quanta Magnetics...

    New video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30h6hrxACdA&feature=youtu.be

Quote "For the FIRST TIME in history, a new emerging power source technology proves the capability of machine integration. Based entirely on a hybrid combination of existing technologies with vast improvements, the unique Si-Graphite powercells provide the ability to operate the Q beta prototype continuously without the need for external electrical, renewable or fuel input."

I wonder what al thinks about the video.

I think I'm not willing to watch a 23 minute video from this person who has been pushing various products for years, none of which have lived up to his claims.

    It's horseshit.

    Just my opinion, mind you.

Yeah, but notice it's an "experimenter's kit"--you get some components, but not all and you get to assemble the kit yourself. "Don't blame us if it doesn't work" still applies.

I do have to admit that, as a piece of post-industrial kinetic art, it's kind of cool. But not worth kilobucks.

Just think of it as the new Magnacoaster.

Whatever happened to that guy who was trying to sell water-powered portable generators? His name escapes me.

It either means that it works inside the triangle, or protects you from disappearing when you enter same. :)
