Saudi Arabia’s main state wheat buying agency has told grains exporters on Wednesday it will no longer buy Canadian wheat and barley in its international tenders.

And Canada retaliates by slapping tariffs on sand....

Heather Nauert (US State Department) said it is up to Canada and Saudi Arabia to resolve their differences. “We can’t do it for them,” she said.

I find this disturbing. This is not a squabble about some petty issue. It's not a squabble at all. The Saudis are demonstrating with as much force as they can that no country may make any comment on their human rights situation. Canada, so far, has made such a comment and has stood by it. How on earth can we resolve this single handed?

The lack of input from other countries is also disturbing.

Why don't they settle it with a curling tournament? Winner gets to hurl taunts at the losing hemisphere.

#Riyadh | FM @AdelAljubeir: There is no need for mediation.
#SaudiArabia did not interfered in the affairs of #Canada in any way. Therefore,
Canada must correct its actions towards the #Kingdom

Canada did not interfered in the affairs of Saudi Arabia either. It made a request, or issued a plea. Perhaps the Saudi dragoman doesn't understand the meaning of "to urge" any better than the conjugation of "interfere".

Canada doesn't interfere much in the affairs of other states. We haven't kidnapped anybody's Prime Minister recently, nor blockaded a neighbour with a TV network we didn't like. And our army hasn't invaded another country since June 6, 1945.

Kanadia insulted the Nation that is the United Arab Emirates for Freedom and Prosperity. Human's rights are a hoax perpetuated by liberals and leftists who hate the unlimited freedoms of the unproportionally loud minority of .1%ers, the forgotten men.

Learn how to interact properly with dictators by watching Don the con:
Trump behaves very statemannish and knows how to handle the handle of dicktators and strongmen all around the Earth's disk. He is always very diplomatic towards perceived alpha males. Some people may call him Putin's pocket pussy, but I think he's more open minded than most people would allow themselves to speculate about.

    Junior says:
Canadians have always expected our government to speak strongly, firmly, clearly and politely about the need to respect human rights at home and around the world ... We will continue to stand up for Canadian values and indeed for universal values and human rights at any occasion.”

“That is something I will always do,”

SA could end this pointless* diplomatic standoff by respecting basic human rights.

*Pointless because: SA is a fucking dictatorship. It's a shame that this form of government is still tolerated in our solar system. How do you explain this shit to Neptunians in a first contact scenario?

The free world of actual people stands behind Mr Trudeau.
Don't call him 'junior' anymore, he's lost that 'honour' already...

So it's really a counterattack to facilitate a regime change in canadia that is more along the lines that can be drawn between Putin, TRUMP and a lot of other abominations fueled by criminal energy?

Probably. Look for a Harpo-clone called Scheer to take over when the electorate is stampeded to the Conservatives in terror of losing a few percent of GDP.
